1. Tell us about the first time you really felt like a mom.
The first time I felt like a mom was when we took Knox to his first pediatrician appointment. After sleepless nights leading up to that, hearing the nurse call his name and asking me "Are you mom?" and me responding with "yes!" - it had finally hit me!
2. What would be your one with for your baby's future?
I just want him to be happy and healthy!
3. If you could give your baby one bit or advice, what would it be?
I would tell him that hard work and being kind always pays off. God has a plan for us all and even though we may not know what that plan is and we have our own plan in our mind, everything will work out!
4. How do you balance your baby's needs with your other responsibilities?
Motherhood is a CONSTANT balancing act. I would say what makes it easier is splitting responsibilities with my hubby! We both have our strengths and what works for us in terms of our work schedules, so we make sure to split the load of raising a toddler. Oh, and a shared google calendar is a lifesaver! Making sure you and your spouse both have your child's doctor's appointments, big work meeting, etc on your calendar helps to keep each other aware of what's going on and who needs help when. Prioritize each day/week by what HAS to be done and what can wait. All in all, just try to take each day by day and soak in your baby! Life is crazy and hectic, but years from now we will look back and wish we had cuddled them longer and just let the house be a mess, ya know?!
5. What is your favorite Finn + Emma product, and why?
My favorite Finn + Emma product (thus far) is the Tank Romper The combination of the pastel colors is SO STINKING CUTE! And I think little boys in rompers in general is TO DIE FOR! But, I do have my eye on the biggie and smalls t-shirt and onesie for Knox and baby #2 on the way, so seeing them both in those may be my new favorite!
